We decided to squeeze in a NJ Appalachian Trail hike on our way up to Port Jervis to visit Amanda cousin. It had snowed a bit during the week and despite the rain, the park still had a light covering of snow. We drove into the park and stopped at the first AT crossing on the Deckertown Turnpike. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see the monument because it was a hazy day. It wasn’t the most memorable hike, but we had a great time.
After the hike we went to Port Jervis to visit my Aunt Jane, Uncle Dave, and Cousin Preston, and had a birthday sushi celebration for my cousin and I.
